ZO2 produces 5x more bass than bass boosts and EQs, and delivers maximum power at sub-low frequencies (30-70 Hz).
ZO2 keeps bass tight, punchy and distortion-free. And unlike bass boosts, it won't overwhelm or muddy-up the midrange, and doesn't sacrifice the mids and highs, keeping details in the audio clear and crisp.
Using purely analog technology, ZO2 provides the most authentic bass possible, as opposed to synthetic bass created with digital signal processing.
Deep bass reproduction requires speakers to operate in a range where they aren't normally efficient. ZO2 deepens bass by maximizing your speaker's ability to respond to low frequencies.
Get a little or a lot. The built-in Sound Signature Tuning Profiles give you
32 different ways to customize your sound.
The ZO2 does more than just bass. With our proprietary SmartVektor™ technology, ZO2 returns substance and dynamics to audio by counteracting the detrimental effects of digital processing.
Hearing the ZO in person is truly the best insight to its capabilities. While these clips are direct recordings of ZO, they can't actually show what the real hardware is fully capable of. But don't take our word for it, you really need to hear it to believe it. Consider yourself warned - once you've heard ZO, you won't be able to listen to anything without it anymore.
With the 32 built-in Sound Signature Tuning (SST) profiles, you can perfectly tweak ZO's sound characteristics to achieve the ultimate entertainment experience. At the heart of ZO is the LightBar display, which colorfully expresses the selected SST profile.
If you're looking to get more volume and dynamic range out of your player, then ZO's green profile is on the job. But, if you crave the soul-shaking impact of a home theater system while on the go, ZO's red profile will save the day.
Think of this universal accessory as a hub that takes every aspect of your audio life from ordinary to extraordinary. Just plug the ZO2 in and discover a whole new world in your music, movies, videos, and games. Plus, you can take that world with you wherever you go – at home, at work, or anyplace in between.
Call it what you will... a personal subwoofer, portable headphone amp, equalizer, audio enhancer, or hi-fi hub. The ZO2 isn't just one thing for one person, it's many things for everyone. But however you choose to define it, ZO will bring sound to life, in every aspect of your life.
Any headphone, earphone, or speaker system with a 3.5mm stereo plug can connect to the ZO2. And if you have a car stereo system or A/V receiver with an auxiliary input, the ZO2 can be connected to them using a secondary stereo cable.
Using the 3.5mm input jack and included mini stereo cable, you can easily connect the ZO to your Smartphone, tablet, music player, computer, gaming console, or anything else that has a standard headphone out jack.
ZO comes with two modes – headphone out and line-out mode. The headphone out mode is used when connecting ZO to the headphone out jack of an audio device. The line-out mode has 32 selectable volume settings, and should be used when connecting ZO to a 3.5mm-to-dock connector cable.
ZO is smaller than a credit card, and its compact form fits snugly in your fingers. Every function is easily accessed through a single thumbwheel switch. The memory feature recalls all the last settings you used, you so can pick up listening where you left off.
ZO is made from high-impact resistant polycarbonate, so the enclosure is not only super-tough, but also unbelievably light weight. Plus, the soft-touch coating will feel good to your fingers, and keeps other devices connected to ZO from getting scratched.
“Although the purpose of the ZO2 is to allow the user to get a wonderful listening experience with its SmartVektor technology, it does it in a way that will surprise many with delight. The bass sounds natural and just wonderful. Music becomes livelier: bass is impactful, smooth, and has a lot of clarity.”

“The DigiZoid ZO2 provides great volume improvements and bass boosts that enhances the overall audio experience. Once you've found the ideal SST profile, everything will sound much better. I was able to hear instruments that I never knew were even in some songs. As for the bass, it hit much harder, and what more can be better than a satisfying and deep bass hit?”

“I really, really like this product. I think the bass boost is one of the cleanest and most natural I've heard. The large number of adjustable levels means you can fine tune your experience to your exact preferences. The small size and light weight makes the ZO2 easy to transport and use in multiple situations. While the product is not perfect, I think its performance easily justifies its price.”

“Two years ago, I reviewed the digiZoid ZO "personal subwoofer" and absolutely loved it. In short, the digiZoid ZO was a portable, personal headphone accessory that boosted low frequencies to give that fuller, richer sound that many of us enjoy. I love the original digiZoid zo so much, it singlehandedly ruined music listening for me WITHOUT it.”

“The digiZoid ZO2 is a brilliant device, and I'll recommend to anyone that's looking to add some bass and fun to his/her headphones' or IEM's sound. It's also well built, very portable and is a quite nice portable amplifier too. Its price isn't too cheap, around $120, but it justifies itself if some nice bass is what you are looking for.”

“It's claimed that the Zo takes lifeless source audio and injects some much-needed color into the soundscape, transforming a run-of-the-mill music player into something matching the kind of performance offered by high-end audio systems. Lofty claims indeed, but as I found with the first version of the powerful audio accessory, they're not without substance and the second generation Zo has even more to offer the discerning listener than its predecessor.”

“Get one. That's it. If you have been looking for a small portable headphone amp, there are few better options in the price category. And if you want more than a traditional headphone amp; i.e., you want bass for gutless speakers and headphones, and loads and loads of fun to boot, the ZO2 represents the cheapest and best way to make every single headphone, speaker, and stereo you own into a bass powerhouse. There is nothing like it.”

“At the current form and price, I think it's perfect. It's small, it's affordable, and it brings a real improvement to the sound. Something that the masses can really enjoy and have a good time with. Even if you have a $3K desktop amplifier sitting at home, I would still advise you to go out and check out the ZO.”

“If you are looking for a bass boosting amp – look no further than the ZO2 – it really is the best portable amp I have had. When I mean portable, I really mean it. The thing is absolutely tiny, and almost unnoticeable. I find the ZO2 serves its purpose well. It is a "personal subwoofer", but not only that, it adds to the "fullness" of your SQ.”

“I read other rave reviews and had to try one. First I tried on a cheap pair of headphones. The headphones didn't sound cheap anymore. The difference was crazy. Then I tried it with some very expensive ($550.00) powered speakers which sounded good to begin with. WOW! I was amazed at the difference this thing made. If you want to get the absolute best sound you have ever heard from your computer speakers or earphones you must buy this right now! Easily the best [$] I have spent in a long time.”

“I used this with my Sony MDRXB41's, When I first turned the device on I set the bass to max and was shocked, It actually boosts the bass quite a bit, the most important thing is it increased the low end bass quite a bit, you could really hear the deep bass, I was really happy I found a decent amp abiet expensive but it actually did what it said on the tin.”

“i LOVE my Zo. It not only gives your bass end of the spectrum more depth and punch it provides surround sound. I won't use my iPod without them. It also provides tremendous exterior noise cancellation, in conjunction with my Sony extra bass noise reduction buds MDREX58V, so when I'm on public transit or in a doctor's or dentist's waiting room I can't hear anyone running at the mouth on their cell phones or little kids screaming. It's THAT good! I bought THREE of them; one for use, one on charge and one in it's box if something should happen. You can't be too careful. They are far better than any Filo headphone amplifier you can buy out there. Zo does it all.”
